Yes I'm a chick that looovveess sports! Go Wings Go!!

There is a no brainer when asked the question what my favourite website it is, hands down during the winter season its the Detroit Red Wings site but during spring and summer gotta give it up to my Yankees.

I know I'm a girl and we are suppose to do girly things like do our hair and nails which don't get me wrong is nice sometimes but I rather watch a great fight or an amazing save than check out girly websites.  No offense to anyone.

The Wings website has tons of videos and photos that I can check out daily to see how they did that night because I was at volleyball practice and missed the game or something like that.  Answer their polls they post up about who is doing good this year or where you think the wings will place at the end of the season.  This website gives tons of information about their charity work, working with their community, It's just nice to see them take time out of their schedule to go help out people.

The wings splash page has an amazing offer with the st nicks package, I would highly recommend giving it to someone for a Christmas gift.   It sells the benefits of buying the package because of the money you would save instead of buying single game tickets.

There is nothing that I would change is this web site at all,  okay well not to be bias they need more photos of Chris Osgood I know alot of people think his time is done but nope I do not agree with that.  I do find there site a tad bit cluttered but what sport sites aren't.

It's easy to navigate through this website because of all their headings that you can choose from, if they feel something is important and they want the viewer to pay attention they will bold the word.

Classic Pepsi for classy people


Advertising today is very in depth and can reach everyone with a different type of medium.  It is easier to target the market group with advertising because of magazines or specialty television channels that gear their ads towards the consumers.

There are so many advertising agencies throughout the whole world compared to 50 years ago.  Back in the day they did not have the same mediums as we do today and the information to find out what type of consumers use their product.  Commercials 50 years ago were mostly to engage the older demographics 18+ since they are the bread winners in the family and not the children.

I found an old 1960's Pepsi commercial that show adults sitting at a bar drinking a Pepsi and smiling with music playing in the background (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4vUwl7YGes) today's campaigns for pepsi such as their newest one Pepsi fresh they are showing the consumers that they care for everyone not just one person and that are trying to help make the world a better place for everyone to live (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srY7Wkl2IbI).


The print ads are very different from ours from how the ad is illustrated because in these ads it looks like they were painted since they did not have the technology that we do today.  The headlines are smaller and do not stand out to capture the readers attention.
These ads from back in the 1960's show how Pepsi really wanted to be classy and be the number one Pepsi Cola for adults.

He's checking out my awesome headband!

The gifted agency of Leo Burnett was the creators of this campaign for All State Insurance.  

This campaign sticks out to me because the man in the commercials is always something he cant be, as you watch the link below you will see that he is a women jogger with a nice body distracting a young man driving and the driver crashes into the a poll.

 I find for my self that I pay attention to more commercials that have a humor in it, with this commercial it makes you watch it till the end because of the content in it  where you find out at the end its an All State commercial.  All State is already a well known insurance company so they do not  need to talk about everything their company can do for the consumers.  They can easily have these funny commercials and just show their name at the end as well the viewers will remember the commercial because of its funny content making it easier for them to remember All State.
